It hits her

After several days being back from Ibiza and nearly over my bug and infection I can honestly say the holiday blues have hit me. Sitting here on a Friday night alone in my room with a glass of rose, dosnt quiet compare! This time last week I was getting gary'd and having the best time ever, raving in my little love bubble. In fact it's very depressing thinking about it, not about to kill myself yet but it is making me think what the fuck am I doing?!

Surly I should be out having fun dancing the night away....but no I can't because no one wanted to come out. What's happened to everyone. I am only 29 after all.

I just want to go back to the island that never sleeps, but for now it's me the book and wine. Rock and roll baby

What's entertaining me

I am currently off work bored and fed up after being left poorly from my week holiday in Ibiza. To say the least I am gutted I couldn't enjoy it to the full potential would be an understatement.
Oh well always next year....even if I will be 30!

So being left in bed can only mean one thing....ha I wish it was that but no it's reading.
Started I heart London by one of my favourite authors Lindsey kelk. I have had this to read for ages but thought i'd save it for my holiday. How wrong! As if I was ever going to read in Ibiza...what a banana.

On chapter 7 now and it is keeping me hooked, every time I get a spurt of energy I pick my book up and read. Kelk has done us proud again, it's witty, exciting and leaving me wanting to know more. Angela Clark is someone we can all relate to with the drama's that unfold in her life. Especially now she is getting married it's not to miss, as we all know nothing runs smoothly with Angela. What could possibly go wrong...or could it run smoothly. With her mum i do not thing so.

I'll keep you updated but now it's back to bed for me

Romantic Novelist Association

So a big well done to Jill Mansell that won best comedy novel at the RNA awards last night. Congratulations to such an amazing author that writes some of the best novels.
Such a shame to Lindsely Kelk for not winning for her novel I heart Paris, as this was outstanding...couldn’t put it down and couldn’t fault one bit.

Oh what i would have done to be at the awards!! hope you had a good night girlies and keep up the fabulous work.

Oh another note, if you havent already, pick up a copy of Sarra Mannings- You dont have to say you love me. Intruiging, delightful and a lil bit steamy...some right laugh out loud moments too

Hello Winter :-)

I woke up at 4am and looked out my bedroom window to white snow glistening on the roof tops, cars and grass. This was a pleasant surprise, I know the weather men said we were due snow but to actually have it, was a pleasure. Even though it was only a little bit, it still made my morning. Off I went back to Carebear land with a smile on my face, for more dreams before I had to get up for work.

Up I got, gloves on, scarf, tights, boots and winter jacket, off to the fresh air. Just love it. Think ill do a bit of online shopping at lunch for some new gloves hat and scarf, can never have too many after all and what girl doesn’t like to shop hehehehe.

On the way out, gave my little bunnies a little stroke to make sure they were ok and not cold (obviously their fur keeps them warm but have to check these things)….you see my rabbits own the garden and just love running about freely. Bluey was sitting on a chair and Poppy was waiting for breakfast. So cute!!

Now in work and wishing I was elsewhere….shopping up London, a walk in the park or even sitting in front of the fire with my book. If only eh!!

Taking of books, reading Sleeping Arrangements by Madeleine Wickham. Did 150 pages last night, can’t put it down, so good!! Just when you think you know what’s happening, a twist comes in it, was like OMG didn’t see that coming. Can’t wait to find out if Phillip finds out about...well cant tell you can I, will spoil it!! Roll on lunchtime when I can carry on reading. Have 50 pages left, so hopefully be done by today. Then to start another, got so many in the pipeline. So glad its winter, such an excuse to stay in doors- snuggled in my fluffy slippers, pjs and dressing gown. Just Heaven…

Anyone see the Apprentice, I never normally say this but I really think Lord Sugar fired the wrong person. He was no way to blame for the team losing. Although I like Jamie, don’t get me wrong he had a good few first weeks but he is slacking and to have moved the appointment from 9am to 1300 I really think he blew it for the team, was unfair for the person to get fired for his mistake. He should have been fired Sugar!!! You let me down this week. More importantly how is Stuart still in it, grrrrr it makes me mad his such a stuck up pompous c*ck!! Rant over J Go Liz to win!!

Heard my first Christmas song yesterday…All I want for Christmas by Mariah Carey. Love that song. Yey to Christmas just love this time of year.  Already got some pressie’s, cant wait to go shopping next weekend in Canterbury for more pressie’s, and I get to see my Kerry YEY!! Cant wait for a night away, so excited eeeekkkk.

Peace and lots of Pea love at this time of year xxx

Pack up the moon

Just finished Reading pack up the moon by anna mc partlin.
Well wow is where I will start! Totally amazing: pure genius!! Read 220 pages today and just couldn't put it down. Had tears twice today over it, so emotional but so good at the same time. I won't spoil it for the people that haven't read it so won't go in too much detail, u really Do have to read it for yourself :-) I'm even making my twin read it and she's dead against books but I know she will enjoy it. I will keep u update on that as yes it's a big task to get her to read....

God I'm all emotional now, books really do get U thinking....

Anyway bloggers, my brain is fried and so time for me to go to carebear land an forget the world. I know I'm gonna be dreaming of the characters, seems so real (why do I do this to myself over every book????)

night book geeks :-) x
